Traveling to Miss Earth Mexico

Miss Earth Yucatan-beautiful, even when she’s covered head to toe

Life is taking me on a new and exciting solo field trip. I haven’t been on a solo field trip in about four years and I have been itching to get out there! In my 20s I traveled to Greece, Turkey, France, Belgium, China, the Philippines, Mexico, and all over the United States. I was limited only by funds and limited vacation hours. I love to travel. We still travel these days, but let’s face it, travel with kids is a different animal.

In a few days I’m heading to Mexico to support my niece, Paola, as she competes for the Miss Earth Mexico title. Earlier this year she won Miss Earth Yucatan. I have ten short days to make sure everything is set for my family while I’m gone (there will be charts, lists, and more charts!), plan and schedule Facebook & blog posts, and pack, pack, pack (what does one wear to a national beauty pageant?).

I hope you’ll take this field trip with me from the comfort of your iPhone or laptop. Take a look at these links to get ready. I’ll take care of the packing!
